It's About Time (2021)
During the height of the pandemic, when I had nothing but time on my hands, I was talking to a friend about running out of things to do. He said, “What if you started writing again?” I kinda laughed it off and moved on.
That weekend, I found a beat and wrote the title track, four verses start to finish, in two days.
Inspiration struck and stuck. I wrote the rest of the album over the next month, recorded it in a closet, and paid someone to do their best to make it sound like it wasn’t recorded in a closet. He did what he could with what he was given… lol.
Was it rushed? Yes. Are there a couple tracks I should’ve left off? Yes. Did I have fun making it? Yes. Am I still proud of it after half a decade? Most of it.
